SatCom Global, specialists in satellite communications, has been chosen as a launch Distribution Partner for Inmarsat’s Global Satellite Phone Services (GSPS). The announcement was made at the Inmarsat Global Partner Conference on Nov 3rd 2009.
Since it was founded in 1979, Inmarsat has become internationally recognized as the market leader in mobile satellite services.
The Inmarsat GSPS family of mobile satellite phones enables users to communicate worldwide by voice calls and text messages and includes GPS capability. SatCom Global, in partnership with Inmarsat, will introduce the IsatPhone Pro at the end of Q2 2010. IsatPhone Pro is a global handheld service for land-based users and the first new product in the GSPS family. The launch of maritime and secure products from the GSPS family will follow at scheduled intervals.
